Abstract of the seminar:
This forum have presented the vital role of librarians with emphasis on reference service and information literacy program. It also enumerated the components of Information Literacy. And it have mentioned some open access resources where you can look for scholarly articles.
Reaction:
In my opinion, the forum does not present any new trends in searching for information. It have given us a refresher course in ” Reference Service.” I myself do not gain additional knowledge in seeking for information in line with the use of the fast changing technology. I think there are lots of things she should have impart in line with the strategies for searching of information. In comparison with the things I’ve learned during our discussion in LIS 260, it is more old fashioned way of looking for information.
